Travel destinations in Africa! I do not even know where to start? People who have never been to the continent probably do not realize the vast diversity that each country holds. Each place I have visited has left a special impression on me that I wish everyone gets the chance to experience Africa in the same way.

While you may find some similar themes or vibes depending on the region of Africa, each country really is different from the other. I think each country has a unique culture, many tribal and official languages, and interesting perspectives on life. The range of religions, languages (more than 2,000), food, music, dance, and skin tones make Africa very diverse and interesting. My favorite thing about Africa is the raw beauty that I have found in each country I have visited. The landscapes and wildlife are amazing. There is no other region where I have felt so close to nature and I am always looking for a way to find my way back.

Over the course of my travels, I have only scratched the surface of discovering the continent. But, I have had the pleasure to experience several travel destinations in Africa. I have now been to 12 African countries in every region except for West Africa. I hope to change that in the near future. No matter which African country I have visited, I walk away with the same impression. All of my experiences have been amazing and incredibly memorable. The people are warm and welcoming.  I still have so many bucket list items I want to accomplish in Africa. I am sure I will be adding more to the list and I hope to start checking those things off of my list soon.
