Travel destinations in Asia are some of the most unique and interesting compared to the other parts of the world. Just stepping off of the plane in any given city that I have so far visited, always puts a smile on my face. I immediately know that I am in for an adventure. I have only visited three East Asian countries so far. But, each travel destination in Asia has made me hungry to want to see more.
Asia is the largest and most populous continent. Therefore, it is one of the most intriguing and fascinating continents on the planet. Asia has six geographic sub-regions. It is extremely diverse and has various customs and traditions, unforgettable architecture and delicious food. The last two things, architecture and food, are usually what captivate me the most in any given country. And, travel destinations in Asia have, so far, met the mark on both. There are themes that run through East Asian cuisine, like rice and noodle dishes. However, each country has a very unique take on those very basic items. I must say, Asian food is one of my favorite cuisines and I am always trying to recreate.

I love studying history, so the mix of some of the world’s oldest civilizations and traditions with modern day lifestyles makes travel experiences unique. While Asia does not have the oldest historical sites, I am always impressed by the architecture and unique buildings sprinkled throughout each country. Probably because the West has a distinctly different architectural style, it is easy to be drawn in.
